HairCutsForMens publishes practical guides to men’s haircuts, beards and grooming. This page explains who writes them, how they are put together, and what to do if you spot a mistake.

Who writes our guides

Our guides are written by Jaan, a working barber in the early years of his career. He writes from what he sees behind the chair: the cuts men ask for, how different hair types behave, how styles grow out, and how to explain what you want to your barber. You can read more about him on our About page.

How we create content

Images

Many of the illustrations on this site are digitally created to show what a style looks like. They are not photos of real clients. We use them to make styles easy to compare, and we are working on adding more real photos over time.

Keeping guides up to date

Trends and techniques change, so we review and update guides when advice changes or when readers point out something that could be clearer. Updated guides show a new date.

Advertising and affiliate links

Some pages may display advertising. If we publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will label them clearly. Recommendations in our guides are based on what we think will help readers, not on who pays.

Not medical advice

Our content is general grooming information. For hair loss, persistent scalp problems, skin irritation or allergic reactions to products, please see a doctor or dermatologist.

Corrections and feedback

If you think something in a guide is wrong, out of date or unclear, please tell us through our contact page. We read every message and correct genuine mistakes.
